Mr. Tujeehut has more than 34 years of experience in sustainability, innovation and the production and distribution of energy and water.

He is a utility professional and has occupied different management functions in this field. His responsibility and experience spreads over a multitude of duties in the area of corporate management, strategic planning, policy making, economic development, innovation and sustainable development, client relation, quality, financial, cost of service and benchmarking.

He was also member of the disaster management team of the island territory of Curacao.

Mr. Tujeehut worked among others for Shell international in the Netherlands, Shell refinery in Curaçao, PDVSA, and is recently supporting the Government of Curacao via its Ministry of Economic development to develop and implement their innovation and energy policy.

He also lectured at the University of Curacao, has presented different papers on the topic of energy, water and renewable policy and was guest speaker at different workshops and congresses in Europe, US and the Caribbean. He is also one of the main drivers behind Curacao’s sustainable policy and the wind farm developments in the Caribbean.

He was also founder and chairmen of the CBCSD (Curaçao Business Council for Sustainable Development), an association for businesses, supporting sustainable development within the business community on the island and Founder of the electrical vehicle platform. Furthermore he has also been involved as chairman and/or member of different committees.
